Dr. Shindana Feagins, a native of Los Angeles, Calif., graduated from the University of Southern California in 1992.
Shortly after graduating, she taught middle school for the Los Angeles Unified School District for three years before realizing her true dream of becoming a physician. Her newfound passion prompted her to move from Los Angeles to Nashville to attend Meharry Medical College in 1996. While completing her degree, Dr. Feagins met her husband, Edwin Feagins, Sr., and they are now the proud parents of three children: Edwin, Jr., Sabria and Edgerin.
After finishing her medical degree, she completed her residency in internal medicine in 2005. For her first job, Dr. Feagins served as the medical director for two years at the Tennessee Prison for Women. She then joined a local group practice in Nashville where she had the opportunity to provide quality health care and to build a solid patient base.
To best serve her patients and to expand her practice, Dr. Feagins has now opened her own office at
1916 Patterson Street, suite 310 in Nashville.
